Vegetation fires along I-5 contained

Officials responded to two vegetation fires in Red Bluff on Friday.

RED BLUFF, Calif. - The Red Bluff City Fire Department, CAL FIRE, and the Tehama County Fire Department responded to vegetation fires along I-5 between Antelope Blvd. and Adobe Rd., according to the Red Bluff Fire Department.

There were two fires which burned two acres collectively.

Both fires have been contained, according to CAL FIRE Tehama.

The next in a series of storms is approaching northern California tonight, and we'll have more rainy weather in the valley overnight with mountain snow. Showers will still fall Wednesday, with many more rain chances ahead.
