Vegetation fire in Lake Calif. put out Wednesday night

CAL FIRE was able to contain a vegetation fire in the area of Espinazo Way and Riverview Drive by 10:30 Wednesday night.

LAKE CALIFORNIA, Calif. - Firefighters put out a nearly two acre vegetation fire near Espinazo Way and Riverview Drive Wednesday night, CAL FIRE said.

Fire crews responded just before 9 p.m. and had the fire contained by 10:30 p.m.

The Lake California Fire Company said during the mop-up one person was transported to the hospital by helicopter for medical treatment

No homes were damaged and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
