Surveillance video shows vehicles being vandalized in north Chico

Chico police are looking for a suspect in a vandalism case. Early Saturday morning reports came in revealing that multiple vehicles were damaged by an unknown man. Do you recognize him?

CHICO, Calif. - Reports started coming in to the Chico Police Department early Saturday morning about car tires being slashed and other vandalism to vehicles in a neighborhood at the north end of the city.

Officers responded to the 3100 block of Cinder Creek Drive. They discovered 12 separate vehicles had been vandalized.

Thousands of dollars in damage was the result of the vandalism, that primarily consisted of slashed tires.

Security video that was just provided to Action News Now shows one man was responsible for the damage, but another person appears  to be standing across the street.

Chico police are asking that you share this video with other. If anyone recognizes the suspect or knows anything about the vandalism they are being asked to call Chico police at (530) 897-4900.
