VFW holds Memorial Day ceremony at Anderson Cemetery

The Veteran of Foreign Wars held a Memorial Day ceremony at the Anderson Cemetery to remember those who served.

ANDERSON, Calif. - People in Anderson remembered those who served during a Veteran of Foreign Wars (VFW) Memorial Day ceremony at the Anderson Cemetery.

Flags decorated the cemetery as over a dozen people attended the event Monday.

Wreaths were laid at the flag to remember those who died.

The names of the veterans were also readout.

“This is really what preserves our freedom of liberty is these guys, gave our lives for our freedom of liberty, that's what these young men and women died for was our freedom of liberty,” said Stan Neutze, House Committee Chairman of Anderson VFW. “They died for our constitution and our American way of life.”

This was the 42nd Anderson VFW Memorial Day ceremony.
