ARBUCKLE, Calif. - Two suspects are at large following an armed robbery at the Umpqua Bank in Arbuckle.
Authorities say around 4:40 p.m. on Friday, July 5, two suspects entered the Umpqua Bank armed with handguns and took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing southbound in a stolen tan Toyota pickup. No injuries occurred during the robbery.
A Colusa County Deputy pursued the vehicle into Yolo County where one suspect fled on foot while another continued driving southbound before abandoning a vehicle in an orchard south of County Road 2 and west of County Road 88 in Yolo County.
Multiple agencies were called out to set a perimeter around the area with CHP in the air as well as on foot with a K-9.
One suspect was described as a heavy-set male with a light complexion. The other was described as having a thinner build. Possibly a Hispanic male adult with a dark complexion or as a black male adult. Both dressed in hoody style sweatshirts with masks covering their faces.
