2 dead after plane crash in Susanville

Two people died due to a plane crash in Susanville, California on Saturday. The NTSB and the FAA are investigating.

UPDATED 5:48 p.m., Sunday, August 16, 2020 - According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) the crashed plane was a Piper PA-14.

SUSANVILLE, Calif. - An employee of Susanville Aviation has confirmed that two people died in a plane crash on Saturday.

The employee said the people died in the crash at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2020.

It was confirmed that an investigation is being conducted by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
