Two boys cited for robbery of Chico business

Chico Police Department responded to a strongarm robbery and cited two boys in connection to the robbery.

CHICO, Calif. - Two kids were cited and released back to their parents after police say they are suspects in a strongarm robbery, according to Chico Police Department.

Around 12:36 p.m., officers responded to a business on the 200 block of W. East Ave.

Police received information about two boys who entered the store and tried to steal items inside. The boys were confronted by the store clerk and a struggle ensued.

The boys made their way past the store clerks as one sustained minor injuries.

The two boys were located by officers in the area of W. Lindo Ave. near Holly Ave.

They were cited for robbery and their information is being withheld due to their age.
