Two arrested in Paradise on drug charges

Both were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

PARADISE, Calif. - Two were arrested on Saturday on drug charges after Paradise Police say the two had drug paraphernalia in their car.

At about 3 a.m. on May 16, Paradise Police pulled Dominic Dornay over on Skyway near Boquest Boulevard.

Officials say they met with his passenger, Taylore Moore, who had a meth pipe, hypodermic needle and suspected heroin.

In the car, police say they found another meth pipe, additional needles and additional paraphernalia.

Both Dornay and Moore were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Additionally, Moore was also booked into the Butte County Jail for possession of a narcotic controlled substance. Dornay was also booked for driving with a suspended driver's license for a prior DUI.

The first of two storms moved over northern California late last night and this morning, but our weather has quieted for now. More rain showers will fall Saturday, but heavier rain and snow with stronger wind arrives Sunday.
