REDDING, Calif. – Teachers at Turtle Bay School in Redding put on a special parade for their students on Wednesday.

Teachers wanted to show their classes their love and support. They decked out their cars with posters, balloons, and words of encouragement for students and their families.

Students even made their own posters and shared plenty of smiles and waves.

“We really like being out with our friends and our students, and we wanted to encourage them and tell them we’re still here and that we still care about them,” Second grade teacher, Megann Chiles said.

Last week, Lassen View Elementary in Redding also put on a social distancing parade for students.
