WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump released a video on Twitter Thursday evening responding to Wednesday's violence at the U.S. Capitol and acknowledging the next administration.

Trump said he is "outraged" by the violence, which was caused by a crowd of his own supporters when they stormed the Capitol while Congress was counting the Electoral College votes.

TIMELINE: Chaos in Congress

He also finally acknowledged that a new administration will be inaugurated on January 20, though he did not mention President-elect Joe Biden by name.

The video was shot by the White House.
