LOS MOLINOS, Calif.- A pick-up truck rolled over into a canal south of Los Molinos around noon on Dec. 30.

On Monday, a California Highway Patrol (CHP) spokesperson said an elderly man was driving a Ford truck southbound on Highway 99 when he veered into northbound traffic and drove off the shoulder.

The truck then rolled over into a canal, trapping and injuring the man inside.

The man was freed from the wreck and the truck was removed from the canal.

CHP also said alcohol and drugs are not suspected.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
