TRINITY COUNTY, Calif. – Trinity County Public Health announced it will begin a phased vaccination drive-thru at Trinity Performing Arts Center (TPAC) in Weaverville beginning January 29, 2021.

COVID-19 Mass Vax PODs will continue in Weaverville every two to three weeks as the vaccine becomes available to administer first doses to all those in each phase, ensure a mechanism for second doses, and ultimately culminating in vaccination of the general public, according to public health.

Public Health officials are expecting access to the coronavirus vaccine to expand beyond the Trinity County Public Health Branch Maxx Vac PODs, as more vaccine becomes available and more providers of the vaccine are added outside of the Public Health system such as Pharmacies and Healthcare Providers.

Health officials said more information regarding pre-registration will be coming out in the next week.

Below is a list provided by TCPHB of its phased vaccination plan.

Thankfully, the wind is cooperating much better today in northern California. Our weather is still quite hot for this time of year and very dry. There is plenty of haze and smoke from the Fawn Fire overhead, and it isn't leaving yet.
