TRINITY COUNTY, Calif. – Trinity County has moved into the state’s red tier after a recent decline in case and test positivity rates, according to Trinity County Public Health.

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) conducts a weekly assessment of county case and test positivity trends. If the adjusted case rate and or test positivity fall within a less restrictive tier for two consecutive weekly periods, the county can revert to the less restrictive tier.

Trinity County is under the Northern California region for the state's Regional Stay-at-Home order. Currently, the Northern California region is not under this order. Click here to learn more about this order.

We had beautiful weather around northern California on Friday with sunshine and more warmth. Saturday will also be fantastic, so get out and enjoy it! A welcome change to our very dry weather pattern is coming soon.
