Trinity County zone 3 evacuation order for River Complex reduced to warning

The Trinity County Sheriff's Office reduced an evacuation order for the River Complex.

TRINITY COUNTY, Calif. - The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office reduced an evacuation order for the River Complex at noon Tuesday.

The Sheriff’s Office said zone three is now in an evacuation warning.

Zone three is described as Highway 3 from the Trinity River Campground to Ramshorn Rd. and west of Ramshorn Rd. to the Trinity Alps Wilderness, south to Billys Peak and east to North Derrick Flat Rd.

Areas included in the reduction are Billys Peak Rd., Eagle Creek Loop Rd. and Ripple Creek Cabins.

The River Complex is 67% contained at 198,555 acres as of Tuesday.
