Monday – The “Carr Fire started on Monday in the area of Highway 299 and Carr Powerhouse Road in Whiskeytown Lake which started by a mechanical failure of a vehicle. There’s no word yet if there is anybody responsible or if they’re facing consequences, said Cal Fire.
Wednesday – The fire then exploded overnight.
Thursday – The blaze doubled in size to 20,000 acres. Babies treated at Mercy Medical Center were relocated to another hospital due to the fire.
