CHICO, Calif. -- First responders are at the scene of a rollover crash in Chico.

It happened about 9:15 p.m. at 8th and Orient Streets, near Downtown.

A Chico police officer on scene said three vehicles were involved, a Lexus, a Jeep and a Honda CRV.

The driver of the Jeep was driving on Orient and trying to cross 8th Street when it collided with a car turning onto 8th.

Drugs and alcohol are not considered factors in the crash.

Investigators say the driver of the SUV simply wasn't paying attention.

"You'll need to pay attention to the roads when it gets dark. There's a lot of traffic in this area and people are getting hurt," said Drew Cooper, an officer with the Chico Police Department.

No one was injured in the crash but traffic remains blocked on Orient.

Traffic on 8th Street is unaffected by the crash.

It took a few hours, but the sun broke through the clouds over most of northern California Tuesday afternoon. The low clouds, fog and light rain showers return to the valley Wednesday, with snowy weather in the mountains.
