ANDERSON, Calif. - The Anderson City Council is considering a possible ban on the sale of tobacco flavored products.
One of the many local vape shops in Anderson that would be affected if the city council decides to move forward with banning the sale of flavored tobacco products is Big City Vapor.
The city of Anderson is another city within Shasta County considering banning the sale of such products.
Just last month, the city of Redding began looking into banning the sale of flavored tobacco products.
In Anderson, there are a handful of local vape and smoke shops that would have to overhaul their product if the city moves forward with the ban.
Action News Now spoke to the owner of Big City Vapor and he said if the ban passes, he would have to close his business.
The Anderson city council will be meeting on Tuesday evening to decide whether they will move forward with the ban.
Action News Now will update with new developments.
