Tehama County, Calif. -- According to incident reports released by the Tehama County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday, Tehama deputies responded 21 times in the last year to calls involving Kevin Janson Neal.

The 21 incident reports reveal a series of feuds between Kevin Janson Neal and his neighbors in the rural Rancho Tehama reserve.

These reports were made before Neal launched his shooting rampage last week, killing five people and wounding at least eight others.

The documents depict a feud in rural Rancho Tehama reserve that was escalating out of control.

Kevin Janson Neal had been battling with his neighbors before he launched his shooting rampage last week, killing five people and wounding at least eight others.

The information released Tuesday in response to a public records request details a quickly escalating feud between gunman Neal and his neighbors in Rancho Tehama.

Neal's neighbors, including two of the people killed in the shooting rampage, had called the Sheriff's Office at least six times to report Neal had been firing a gun at their homes and cars.

Records show seven calls were initiated by Neal and his wife, Barbara Glisan, often reporting foul odors and neighbors possibly cooking methamphetamine.

Neil's disheveled motor home was twice placed under surveillance, but deputies were unable to find Neal doing anything illegal.

Neal was out on bail after being arrested January 31 for assaulting two of his neighbors, and the Sheriff's Department last week acknowledged that Neal and his feud were on deputies' radar screens.

The fog tucked us in last night, leaving for some surreal driving conditions on the roads. We see the potential for a repeat situation this evening for the valley.
