Tehama County's vaccination clinic continues Tuesday

Tehama County Public Health Department is holding its Covid-19 vaccination clinic Tuesday. Those who fall under the phase 1b with appointments will receive the shot.

Update: 9:41 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021 - A free vaccination clinic will continue Tuesday in Red Bluff.

The clinic will offer doses to people categorized in phase 1B and have made appointments. Phase 1B includes people older than 75 years, food packers, and postal workers.

Everyone will be receiving one of two doses of the Moderna Vaccine.

The vaccination clinic is at the Red Bluff Community Center. The clinic starts Tuesday at 10 a.m. and last until 7 p.m.

Those between the ages of 65 and 74 are part of phase 1C. The date for the Phase 1C shots is Jan. 26.

Health officials are alerting everyone that the vaccine could cause some side effects such as headache, fever, or muscle aches.

RED BLUFF, Calif. - Tehama County Public Health Department is set to hold the county's first COVID-19 vaccination clinic.

This clinic will be at 15-hundred South Jackson Street in Red Bluff, otherwise known as the Red Bluff Community Center.

Doors open at 10 a.m. and last until 7 p.m. Monday but you do need to make an appointment.

People classified in Phase 1A of the vaccination rollout will go first and that includes clients at assisted living facilities, law enforcement personnel, and firefighters.

People in Phase 1B and Phase 1C will be next in line to receive a shot.
