Suspects in custody in Yuba County attempted homicide investigation

Three suspects were arrested in an attempted homicide investigation in Yuba County on Tuesday.

YUBA COUNTY, Calif. - Three people were arrested in an attempted homicide investigation and are in custody, Yuba County Sheriff’s department said.

Robby Lepird, 31, and Jesse Feamster, 23, were arrested Tuesday night by Stockton’s California Highway Patrol officers while Zachary Williams, 39, was arrested on April 2 by Merced Police.

Yuba County Sheriff’s Detectives continue to investigate an attempted homicide that happened on March 22.

Detectives gathered information when a victim arrived at the Sheriff’s headquarters in Marysville to report an alleged shooting.

The female victim had a gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital where she was treated and released for the wound.

The SWAT arrived at the scene of the incident where the team found a second victim but no suspects.

The three suspects have been booked into the Yuba County Jail.
