NORTHERN CALIFORNIA - One chain carwash is offering first responders in Northern California a free car wash during the coronavirus pandemic.

From now until April 10, anyone who is a first responder whether it be a police officer, firefighter, nurse or others can go to any "Surf Thru Express Car Wash" location during its business hours.

There are two cities first responders can go to for the nice gesture, they are Chico and Yuba City.

In Chico, there are two locations on:

  • 2470 Forest Avenue
  • 2572 Esplanade

In Yuba City, there is one location at:

  • 1501 Colusa Hwy

This free car wash only applies to first responders.

It is known that the coronavirus can live on hard surfaces for several days, cars are not exempt.

It's been a warm and windy day for northern California with isolated showers breaking out over the higher terrain. We aren't done with the windy weather quite yet, but a quieter and warmer pattern is coming soon.
