Sunrise Fire in Bangor 75% contained, evacuation warnings lifted

UPDATE: 4:43 p.m. - Evacuation warnings for Woodhill Drive, Diablo View Drive, and Bangor Park Trail in Bangor have been lifted.

BANGOR, Calif. – The Sunrise Fire in Bangor has reached 75% containment and is holding at three acres, according to Cal Fire. Crews will be at the scene for several more hours as they work on full containment.

Evacuation warnings for Woodhill Drive, Diablo View Drive, and Bangor Park Trail in Bangor, west of the four corners in the southern Butte County community have been lifted.

Bangor Park Drive and Oro-Bangor Highway are still closed at this time.

The fire was first reported around 1 p.m. near Sunrise Hill Road and Bangor Park Road.

Butte County officials have set up a Sunrise Fire information line at 833-512-5378.

No injuries or damage to any structures have been reported at this time. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
