Great news ahead for the start of your work week! You can feel free to leave the umbrella at home today, and we aren't dealing with any weather related travel impacts for your way out the door this morning. Skies are clear across Northern California this morning, and are projected to stay sunny today. Tempetratures have dipped into the low to mid 40's in the valley overnight, and into the 20's in the mountains early today. A jacket will be a good idea for your way out the door this morning, but you will more than likely not be wanting the extra layer this afternoon. Winds will be out of the North to 15mph, and humidity will dip to below 40 percent this afternoon. High tempertaures are projected to climb into the mid to high 60's in the valley later today, and into the 40's to 50's in the mountains this afternoon. Overall, it looks like a mild and comfortable afternoon ahead for Northern California.

A wet system will drop down from the Pacific Northwest late tonight, and will brush across portions of Northern California on Tuesday. The best chance for showers will be in the Northern zones of our area, with limited showers possible from the mid valley to the South. It doesn't look like we'll have anywhere near enough rain or snow to result in flooding problems, but mountain snow could bring minor travel impacts to our area on Tuesday. Snow levels will be down to around 4000'. Temperatures will end up around 10 degrees cooler for many areas on Tuesday. High temperatures will end up in the mid 50's in the valley, and in the 40's in the mountains. Most showers should wrap up by late Tuesday evening.

Dry weather will be returning to our area on Wednesday, but it's expected to stay on the cooler side Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures will slowly but surely warm through the end of the week, with low to mid 60's projected for Friday. Another wet system will bring the potential for light showers to the far Northern portions of our area on Saturday, but that chance does not look all that promising in the current long range outlook. Temperatures will warm into the high 60's in the valley on Saturday, and into the low to mid 70's on Sunday! It's going to feel like early spring time across Northern California this weekend!
