CHICO - A fire has struck a business in North West Chico.

Cal Fire responded to the scene on Saturday at Highway 32 where firefighters found flames in an art studio.

They say the building is home to several businesses it's very large, 70 feet by 300 feet.

“Apparently it was an art studio so there's a lot of stuff in there. Our firefighters are going to be in there pulling out stuff out trying to put out the little hot spots,” said Bill Reid, a battalion chief for Cal Fire.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and they say it will take a while to figure out what happened.
