The Red Flag Warning has ended but dry and windy conditions still remain. It won't be as pronounced tomorrow but the heat will have a slight uptick tomorrow. Expect to reach the mid-90s in most valley locations.

As Monday rolls around you'll notice the temperatures will be slightly cooler. And then Tuesday through Thursday expect temperatures in the low-to-mid-80s. This is thanks to a low-pressure system moving in from the Gulf of Alaska. This will also make mountain locations pretty cool and provide some clouds to most of NorCal.

By Friday, the low will be up in Canada and high pressure in the Pacific will move back into the area, bringing a return to dry North winds. This means we will see a return to full sunshine and temperatures in the 90s on Friday and Saturday.

A modest drop in temperatures, increasing clouds and the threat of thunderstorms are all ahead in your Friday forecast. The threat of thunderstorms over very dry fuels is resulting in high fire danger in portions of northern California Friday and Saturday. Some welcome changes are ahead in your extended forecast.
