The start to your Wednesday morning is very similar to the last few mornings, but changes are on the way for your afternoon. Humidity has recovered a little better overnight, and is only projected to dip into the 20 to 30 percent range this afternoon. Fire danger will be in the moderat range today. High temperatures will be several degrees cooler than Tuesday. Valley areas will mostly top out in the mid 70's this afternoon, nad mountain areas will end up in the low 60's to low 70's. Clouds will be increasing through the day and showers will be returning to most of Northern California today. Showers could enter the Northern Mountains as early as late this afternoon, and will track across the remainder of Northern California through Thursday morning. Most of the wet weather will wrap up before your morning commute on Thursday in the valley, but scattered mountain showers will be possible into the afternoon hours. Temperatures will be several degrees cooler on Thursday. Valley high temperatures will range from the high 60's to low 70s, and mountain areas will end up in the 50's to 60's on Thursday afternoon. Some clearing and a very slight rise in temperatures will be ahead for your Friday. Another chance for showers will be returning to our region on Friday night and that will linger through Saturday afternoon. Most of the showers late this week are expected to stay in the mountains. Dry weather will return to our region on Saturday night, and a warming trend will be on hand for the start of next week. High temperatrues will climb back into the mid to high 70's in the valley on Sunday and then into the low to mid 80's on Monday. We'll stay dry with highs in the 80's through the middle of next week.
