We saw another record high in Redding yesterday. The rest of the Valley reached the mid-to-upper 70s. We will still be warm today but no records are expected to be broken. A few clouds move in today but overall we stay mostly sunny. Overnight lows dip into the 40s.
The ridge of high pressure moves East on Friday letting clouds move in and cooler temperatures with highs in the mid-60s. Rain moves in overnight into the day on Saturday. We can expect moderate rain and snow over the mountains with light showers in the Valley. This will be the Valley's first rain since January 26th! Unfortunatley, it won't be significant but at least it wilk get us on the board for March.
We stay dry on Sunday as we spring forward an hour with the time change. Highs in the 50s on Saturday & Sunday.
Next week we warm back up into the 70s with only very small chances for showers in the Valley but a little better chances in the mountains, with the greater chances as you head towards Tahoe or San Francisco.
