This morning will still be a little cloudy for some but sunshine is expected for your afternoon with valley highs back in the low 80s.
Wednesday any further warming will be limited as a disturbance moves through the Pacific Northwest. This disturbance could lead to a few showers over the mountains near the Oregon borders. This includes Modoc, Siskiyou, Trinity and Northern Shasta counties. Everyone else will remain dry and mostly sunny tomorrow.
Thursday-Friday a ridge of high pressure gains strength and further builds into our area. This leads to clear nights, sunny days and warm temperatures. Valley highs are expected to soar to just a few degrees below 90, with 90 degrees still within grasp.
This weekend thie ridge will weaken but still be the dominant weather system in the area. So we will remain dry with highs in the mid-80s.
