Today is another warm one across the North State but not quite as warm in Redding, although temps still well within the 80s and Chico in the upper-70s.
A ridge of high pressure will stick around the North State all week long, keeping us warm and dry. Clouds are possible in the forecast, especially around the weekend as the ridge weakens also allowing for temperatures to moderate a bit. By next week high will be in the upper-70s for both Chico and Redding. Still above average and still dry. The good news is winds will still be weak, meaning we avoid elevated fire danger.
A weak system, passes to our North the middle of next week but the details on this system are still uncertain. There will be more forecast confidence in the impacts of this system, if any, once we reach this weekend.
