Today will be much warmer & sunnier than yesterday with highs in the upper-70s to low-80s. A few light showers are possible in Eastern Shasta County or Modoc, Lassen, Plumas counties today. Otherwise, everyone will be dry today. The chance of even seeing those showers is low.
Tomorrow and Good Friday will be cooler than today with highs in the low-to-mid 70s with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies across the area. The increase in clouds and drop in temperatures is all due to the low-pressure system in SoCal retrograding back North just a bit (the same system that gave us cold weather and showers over the weekend).
The system moves farther away again and East into the Desert Southwest on Saturday. So it will no longer influence our weather. Instead, a high pressure system will be our dominant weather player for our weekend into next week. We'll see highs in the upper-70s to low-80s over the weekend and into next week with plenty of sunshine. Easter will also be warm & sunny.
