Be careful on your morning commute as fog is widespread across the Eastern part of the Valley, with the thickest fog in place from Oroville and South towards Sacramento where there is a Dense Fog Advisory until 10 am. The fog will clear by lunch, will sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s in the Central Valley and near 60 in the North Valley.

Tuesday there is still a chance for some patchy fog with highs dropping into the mid-to-low 50s. There will be a chance for showers later in the afternoon into your overnight hours. Wednesday is sort of rise and repeat. Highs in the mid-50s with the chance for showers late in the day with the North Valley having a better chance.

Thursday, the next real wet system moves in giving much of the mountains and valley decent rain chances with temperatures holding steady in the 50s. The rain lets up on Saturday with overnight lows dropping in the upper-30s. Dense fog could become a concern again Saturday night into Sunday morning.
