A few fires caught near Oroville today. Relative humidity levels have been low but the fires have been contained. This is because wind speeds have been low. The same should be the case for the rest of the weekend.
Temperatures should remain in the low 90s until we reach Wednesday. This is when the cooler air to our North will retreat into Canada and then out to the Pacific. As this happens, a high pressure over the Great Basin will move closer to Northern California. This will lead to temperatures rising to the mid-to-upper 90s in the Valley, with the chance of reaching triple digits as early as next Saturday.
