Yesterday was cooler due to smoke cover and we will see the same thing today with highs in the mid-80s. Smoke continues to inundate our region and is causing unhealthy to very unhealthy air for many this morning. Winds will be on the light side today which wil help with furter containment on the Bear Fire. For those who are lucky to be without smoke, you will see sunny skies today and warmer temperatures than everybody else.
Tomorrow is Friday and it will see much of the same as today.
Hopefully some smoke clears out by Saturday allowing us some sun and healthier air. Thta would also mean a return to 90 degree tempratures.
The will be a trough of low pressure dipping down in the Pacific towards our region Sunday and next week. This will lead to cooler weathter and more moisture, possibly leading to a quick isolated shower in the mountains. If that happened it would most likely be Tuesday or Wednesday. The system however will also increase winds over our, thereby increas9ing fire danger, starting on Sunday.
