Today has seen pretty mild and wonderful weather. Air quality is okay to breathe for most but fires continue burning today and will do so over the next several days.
The forecast for winds isn't too bad in the forecast for fire danger and shouldn't become a problem until maybe Friday or Saturday. But again, that's a maybe.
This weekend and Monday Redding could hit 90 degress whereas the rest of the valley should see upper-80s. The jet stream will remain relatively flat which means onshore zonal flow and weak delta breezes. The weather should remain mild, seasonable and overall noo bad.
Next week on Tuesday and Wednesday a weak system moves in the Pacific Northwest. This wil bring slightly cooler temperatures into our region and maybe a slight southerly breeze. We could also see a few clouds come and go with a slight uptick in humidity, which will be most noticeable at night. Highs will be in the mid-80s.
We remain in the 80s the rest of the week with no significant weather changes.
By next weekend, a deeper trough of low pressure could bring more fall-like weather to our region but its too soon to call it. Its something I'll watch closely, however.
