Highs today will be warm in the low-to-mid 80s with sunny skies.
We keep the sunshine tomorrow but temperatures remain fairly steady. as the ridge of high pressure remains fairly flat and not very strong.
On Wednesday a system passes to the North. This prevent temperatures from warming, cause gusty winds and throw a few clouds our way, but still remaining mostly sunny.
Thursday through Saturday the ridge of high pressure grows in strength. This will lead to sunshine and some intense heat, particularly on Friday & Saturday where highs are expected to be just a few degrees away from triple digits. With temperatures soaring into the upper-90s, some could see new records broken.
Sunday things look to cool down again as another disturbance passes near our region.
