Yesterday was a cool & wet day for most; we'll see the same situation today except we'll see the added chance for some thunderstorms in the valley & Sierra foothills this afternoon. Highs will be in the upper-60s.
Tomorrow highs will be in the mid-to-upper 60s as another round of showers moves through the area getting just about everyone wet.
Thursday the system that has been providing cooler and wetter weather finally moves inland. This will reduce shower chances for most as the system weakens but the chances will still be in the forecast for Thursday. The farther north you are, the better chance you have of seeing rain. Highs also touch the low-70s again on Thursday.
We warm into the low-80s on Friday and Saturday with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. This is all thanks to a weak, but temporary ridge of high pressure moving through the region.
Next weekend the rain returns. Another system, which is currently in the Aleutian Islands way out in Alaska will bring another coold front with wet weather on Saturday night. Sunday and Monday will see continued chances for showers with highs in the low-70s.
