Clearing skies, mild temperatures, and breezy winds are ahead for your Friday forecast. Skies are clearing this morning. Some scattered showers have lingered across the Northeast corner of the state overnight, but are moving off to the East this morning. We'll be sunny to mostly sunny this afternoon. Temperatures are a little warmer than 24 hours ago. Valley areas are starting out in the mid 50's this morning, and mountain areas are in the 30's to 40's early today. Winds will be out of the North to 15mph and humidity is expected to dip into the 15 to 30 percent range this afternoon. High temperatures will top out in the mid to high 70's in the valley today and mountain areas will end pu in the low to mid 60's this afternoon. Saturated fuels should help to keep fire danger in the moderate range today. Conditions look great for watching high school football tonight, and will mostly be in the high 60's by game time. You may want to have a jacket handy if you are heading out to a game tonight.

Skies will be sunny and temperatures will continue to warm through your weekend. Valley areas are projected to climb into the mid to high 80's on Saturday afternoon, and then into the high 80's to low 90's on Sunday. We're going to stay dry and just as warm as Sunday on Monday. Temperatures will dip back down into the mid 80's in the valley towards the middle of next week. We are expecting to stay dry through your entire extended forecast.
