I hope you enjoyed all the rain, snow and hail over the past few days as well a the cooler weather, because that is all going to change for the rest of the week. Warm weather moves in, as a ridge of high pressure builds over our region. This will lead to warm & sunny weather reach day of the week and a warmer trend every day through Thursday.

Monday highs were in the 60s. Tuesday highs will be near 80 degrees, give or take a few degrees. Wednesday will continue the warming pattern as most in the valley reach the upper-80s. Some cloud cover is possible on Thursday and Friday due to tropical air mixing with a trough of low pressure. Despite this, warmer air from the tropics will allow us to stay warm. We could reach 90 degres on Thursday with overnight lows in the upper-50s to near 60 degrees.

We won't reach 90 degrees again for the rest of the 7-day forecast, but valley highs will still remain in the mid-to-upper 80s Friday through Monday with plenty of sunshine on the weekend. Maybe hop in the pool this weekend?

Gusty winds and very dry conditions will drive high fire danger across northern California on Thursday. We'll also end up much cooler on Thursday afternoon. Lighter winds, hotter temperatures, and more widespread impacts to air quality are ahead for Friday and Saturday.
