The heat wave continues today with many still reaching the uper-90s to triple digit temperatures. Today is likely to be the hottest day of the heat wave.
Tomorrow will start of sunny and warm and even reach the upper-90s. But increasing winds from the South (aka the Delta Breeze) will cool us down in the evening as a disturbance approaches the area. A few isolated storms will be possible along the foothills Friday night.
More rain & thunderstorms are likely tomorrow as the disturbance moves across the region from the southwest towards the northeast. This system will also lead to highs only in the mid-70s which would be below average for temperatures at this time of year. That's awesome!
Sunday will be mostly cloudy but no rain except for a stray shower or two in the mountains. Highs are back in the 80s on Sunday.
Monday highs stay in the 80s but there is a possibility for a stray shower or two in the valley, as a system passes to the north. Partly cloudy skies will prevail.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny, drier and highs near 90 are back in the forecast. We continue the warming trend on Wednesday with highs in the mid-90s and sunny skies.
