Storm Tracker Forecast: Heat Advisory Tuesday-Thursday

A heat advisory will be in effect Tuesday through Thursday with cooler and wetter weather in store for your weekend.

A HEAT ADVISORY will be in effect today with highs in the upper-90s in the valley with abundant sunshine.

The HEAT ADVISORY is for valley and foothill locations between 11am on Tuesday through 8pm on Thursday. The hottest day in the forecast will be Wednesday with highs above 100 degrees. Some could reach 103 degrees in the valley. Thusday we are still near 100.

Friday's forecast is looking fantastic. Mostly sunny skies with highs in the low-80s. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Saturday a frontal system moves in from the Pacific, bringing showers to the region. Most of the rain will be light and fall in the mountains and North Valley but the central valley could get some rain as well. Thunderstorms will also be possible on Saturday. On Sunday, linggering showers will still be here but mainly in the mountain regions. Highs will also be in the mid-to-upper 70s through the weekend.

Monday's weather looks nice with sunny skies and highs in the low-80s.
