Saturday was another warm & sunny day with some reaching 80 degrees in the valley. We'll cool into the upper-40s in the valley overnight before warming back up again on Sunday.

Fire danger is on the rise this week and it starts on Sunday. Highs will reach the low-80s with winds gusting from the north between 20 & 30 mph. This will bring dry conditions to a region seeing near-record dry vegetation. All of these things add up to increased fire danger. The winds are increasing thanks to a disturbance moving to our east.

Monday, winds will calm down slightly but it will be warmer with some reaching the mid-80s with sunny skies.

Tuesday the disturbance that cause strong winds on Sunday will grow in size. This will lead to cooler temperatures on Tuesday and windier weather. Highs will be in the mid-70s with a couple clouds and maybe a few sprinkles in the Sierra. Winds will gust 40-50 mph which will bring another fire danger concern on Tuesday and possibly Wednesday.

Highs remain in the mid-70s through Thursday before slowing warming back up to 80 degrees by next weekend.
