Today we'll see near normal temperatures with highs in the low-80s. This morning should be sunny but increasing clouds are possible in the evening, as well as a few showers in the Northern Sierra or Cascades. Mainly Modoc and Lassen counties.
Tomorrow we'll dip back into the upper -70s, ending your week with comfortable weather. However, a big warm up is in store as a strong ridge of high pressure settles into the region. Saturday will be sunny with highs in the mid-80s but by we're back in the low-90s by Sunday.
Once we get to Memorial Day on Monday, extreme heat enters the picture. Highs in the upper-90s. Then highs 98-102 Tuesday and Wednesday. This will pose a heat risk for anyone headed outdoos. Be safe in the heat. Stay hydrated. Wear light clothing. And stay indoors if possible, in the A/C.
