A few showers this morning mainly North towards Redding and along the coast. By lunch, dry conditions settle in with less clouds the farther south you are in the afternoon. Valley highs reach the upper-50s this afternoon with mountain highs in the mid-to-upper 40s. A few getting above 50. Lows reach the low-40s tonight in the Valley with mountain lows in the 20s in the Sierra and just above freezing in the Coastal Range.
Tomorrow Valley highs reach the low-60s with clouds still prevalent. A ridge of high pressure strengthens throughy the week continuing to warm us up and keeping us dry. Mostly sunny skies by Friday and Saturday. The warmest day is expected to be Friday, with Valley highs reaching the upper-60s to low-70s.
A cold weather system moves in on Sunday dropping highs in the 50s on Sunday and Monday with a slight rain chance on Sunday. Overnight lows could dip near freezing.
