This morning any sunshine you see will quickly turn to clouds as a system will be moving in bringing widespread rain & snow, starting for most around noon. Highs will be in the mid-50s.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect in the mountains with snow accumulating down to 5,000 feet but significant snow levels will only be seen higher in elevation. Half a foot to a foot of snow will accumulate above 6,000 feet with slightly more possible on the highest peaks.
Rain will be widespread this afternoon with totals mostly between half an inch to an inch.
Friday will be a nice partly cloudy to mostly sunny day. Highs back into the low-60s.
Showers will again be possible Friday night into Saturday morning. These will be more scattered and light compared to Thiursday's system but should still get most wet.
Sunday is Valentine's Day and the weathe ris looking wonderful in the upper-50s and partly cloudy skies.
