A few saw showers yesterday but everyone will remain dry today. We've got valley highs reaching the mid-80s for some and mountain cities looking to reach the 70s for most. Today will also be sunnier with much less cloud cover compared to yesterday.
Tomorrow we warm into the upper-80s, near 90 for some. Sunshine remains.
This weekend the ridge of high pressure that has been keeping us dry and warm weakens a little. We'll still be in the mid-80s but the weakend ridge should allow for some more cloud cover on the weekend.
Next week we are extpecting intense heat for April standards, with record highs possibly being broken. Valley highs reach 90 on Monday then could soar into the mid-90s for Tuesday & Wednesday. Got the sunscreen ready?
