After a relatively quiet weather weekend for northern California, another cold front is moving over our region, and we can expect more valley rain, mountain snow and gusty wind. Precipitation and wind chances continue through early Wednesday. At this time a cold front is moving over northern California, and we can expect another round of valley rain, mountain snow and gusty wind. Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories continue for our mountains through Wednesday morning. Lows tonight won't fall too far due to our clouds, rain and wind. Lows will range from the 30s in the mountains to the 40s in the valley. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and isolated storms. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s.
Another small disturbance will continue our chances for valley rain and mountain snow along with gusty wind through Wednesday morning, with decreasing clouds, weakening wind and warming temperatures through much of the rest of the extended forecast. Once the second small storm passes over northern California, the wind will gradually weaken through Thursday. We can expect a mostly sunny to sunny sky from Thursday through next Monday with a cooling of our overnight lows but a warming of our daytime highs to above average levels. Lows will fall into the 10s and 20s in the mountains with 30s and lower 40s in the foothils and valley. Highs will rise into the 40s in the mountains with 50s and 60s in the valley.
