Today is going to be a big change from the weather we have been seeing lately. Highs in the low-80s and mostly sunny this afternoon!
Tonight, cloud cover increases with a mostly cloudy morning tomorrow then a partly cloudy afternoon. Another late system moves in on Saturday night getting almost everyone wet, but if you have plans on Saturday keep them if they are in the morning. The system makes landfall around lunchtime, then sweeps the area with northwest to southeast track through the late afternoon to late evening. Highs in most places will still be able to get pretty close to 80 degrees.
Sunday will see showers all day with cooler weather (highs in the upper-60s). Some thunderstorms are also possible on Sunday afternoon, mainly in the north valley and foothills. Monday will be another wet & cool day. Highs in the upper-to-mid 60s with widespread showers and thunderstorms. Tuesday rain chances taper off with any lingering showers dissipating after the morning. Many get back in the low-70s with the sun starting to come back out.
Wednesday & Thursday a large ridge of high pressure begins to move back in the area leading to mostly sunny skies. Highs on Wednesday will be in the mid-70s. The warming trend continues with highs on Thursday back in the low-80s.
