ORLAND, Calif. - While some businesses in California are preparing for a limited reopening, fitness clubs could be months away from getting back to business, however that's not stopping two Glenn County gyms.
Both "AktivFit Gym" and "Epic Barbell" located in the city of Orland, posted on their Facebook pages that they would reopen their facilities.
Both their posts received a lot of support about the reopening.
Governor Gavin Newsom says on Friday, California will enter phase 2 of the four-phase reopening plan.
That means book stores, clothing stores, florists and even sporting goods will be able to open their doors.
Phase 2 does not apply to gyms, salons or even spas - those are still months away from reopening.

Action News Now spoke to one gym-goer, he says he's in favor of all gyms reopening during this time.
"It's a really nice environment to be able to work out there," said Saito Mamea, an 'Epic Barbell' member, adding that "it's just a small local gym and I don't really see that much of a threat there."
Mamea also told Action News Now that "Epic Barbell" was one of the first gyms he heard opening back up in the Glenn County area and decided to get a membership as soon as he could.
Action News Now spoke to Amy Travis the Glenn County deputy-director from the office of emergency services, she says deputies do not authorize any businesses to reopen that are not in the current phase the governor has authorized.
She says these two gyms are violating the order issued by Gov. Newsom.
"Glenn County is seeking the ability for local authority to expedite our reopening," Travis said.
Action News Now also reached out to Pete Carr, the city manager for Orland to get a comment about the reopenings.
"Well for any gym to open before the state and the county allow it, it would not be compliant," Carr said.
Travis says deputies won't do any enforcement on these two gyms, adding that all deputies can do is provide them with guidelines on how to safely open their business.
Action News Now called both gyms several times to talk to us about this story, both refused to comment.
