PLACER COUNTY, Calif. - Snow, ice and a gas leak have caused major disruptions for Placer County students already displaced due to school remodeling.

Deputies evacuated Tahoe Lake Elementary Students Monday from the Rideout Community Center, their temporary home due to construction.

Officials say the weight of the snow and ice caused the gas leak. Crews are now working to repair that line.
