Parts of the North State saw snow, hail, thunderstorms and even a tornado warning on Thursday. Mother nature made for some very active weather conditions.

Thunderstorms developed in the valley, spawning a tornado warning.

In Tehama County, a tornado warning was issued at 6:30 p.m., but fortunately no tornado actually touched down and the warning expired at 7 p.m.

In Paradise, snow fell throughout most of the afternoon, accumulating to less than an inch.

Roads were covered in slush and then the ice melted away. Eventually, a thick fog was over the roads by 6 p.m.
